There is 1 second left on stadium clock when ball is touched by player who jumped from out of bounds. Multiple videos from those attending game have come to light. No conspiracy. No secret clock. The NBC clock was never the actual timekeeper. Hence the stoppage by ref to reset.

The crazy thing is that the 0.01 second clock shown in this video is clearly a video of the actual in game video board. You can tell by the 9 on it which is an additional stat from the big board.
