Blanche: When it comes to the FBI… Director Patel has cleaned house there too. There is not a single man or woman with a gun, federal agent, still in that organization that had anything to do with the prosecution of President Trump. President Trump for the first time in modern history has said I am the president and if you work in the executive branch, you work for me. And guess what? We can all read the constitution. He's right. And unfortunately, past administrations, Republican included, have just resigned themselves to putting up with partisan actors within the DOJ. We do not.

Vasquez: What the president has attempted to do is normalize corruption, to make it seem normal that because his corruption is transparent, that somehow makes it okay. We’re going into dangerous territory here if we set a precedent going forward that the next president or members of Congress can continue to do this and it’s considered business as usual. This is how we see corruption take root in other countries that cannot be uprooted, and we cannot turn into that.

Blanche: I appreciate the frustration because we do have to make sure that what happened for four years never happens again, and we don't talk about investigations but I can tell you that the DOJ is working hard every day.
