I often post one of dozens of surveys conducted by Harvard, Latana, and others showing that Chinese people report they are 'satisfied' with or 'approve of' the Chinese government in Beijing. A lot of data also reports on Chinese satisfaction with their democracy. Folks, ignorant about China, often exclaim that Chinese people are forced to respond in such ways. This is a ludicrous cope.
