Mad respect for Minister CTR.Nirmalkumar 👏. He's fighting battles on every front to fix the everyday power cut problems in Chennai, even though the department he's handling is in a very bad shape. Everything around this department has been far from normal. hard disks were stolen from the TNEB... head office, fuses are being stolen affecting daily operations, a CBI case is going on related to the transformer scam under former minister Senthil Balaji, there aren't enough workers to handle the workload, and the department is sitting on a debt of over ₹1 lakh crore. This is not a small problem. This is a huge mess that has been building up for years. Turning around a department that has suffered from decades of mismanagement under both Dravidian parties is a himalayan task in itself and CTR.Nirmalkumar is trying to do exactly that. At the same time, he is also working on big plans for Tamil Nadu's energy future like solar power, wind power, rooftop solar, green hydrogen, smart grids, and more. He wants to bring in investments, create jobs for Tamil Nadu's youth, and make Tamil Nadu a leader in clean energy. But one person cannot do all of this alone. A kind request to CMOTamilNadu, all ministers, and every TVK MLAs in Chennai, please stand with him and support him. Visit your local EB offices. Talk to the people directly. VIDEO | Chennai: Reacting to Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar not inviting TVK chief Vijay for oath ceremony, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai says, "... Here in this case, there is no pre poll alliance in the state of Tamil Nadu that is able to produce a majority. Nobody has staked claim to form the government. But the single largest party, Vijay's TVK, has gone ahead and met the Governor, showing the support of 113 MLAs. They have 113 MLAs supporting them. The magic number is 117. They are four short of the required number. From a purely constitutional and legal perspective, the Governor is well within his rights to demand proof of support or ask for letters of support from other members that would help them cross the magic mark. This is what the Supreme Court observed in the Rameshwar Prasad case. This is the only area where the Governor has some leverage to act. This is the only area where the Governor can use his discretion. The Constitution has provided him with that power. Probably the Governor is using that discretion. At 8.45, he has asked them to assemble at Namakkal. However, he starts from Chennai at 9:00. What kind of a leader is he? So why has he done this?
