Made a little device that manages my claude code’s & codex’s on my server… Simple esp32 s3 chip by waveshare. The orchestrator agent works with voice, controls my device remotely with tools, and controls the server. It’s a cool time to make stuff.

So I created a simple Expo app for remotely connecting to an OpenCode server (running on my mac) so I can remotely control & prompt from my iPad or phone. Not very polished but it works pretty well and its kinda interesting that you can see the feedback loop live.

I took Steve Ruiz's advice & got an ESP32! So much fun for ~$55. I programmed it to display live stats from my online radio station, and use the built-in mic to transcribe and send messages in the station's chat :) Here's everything I bought & how it works: - Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.54" e-Paper AIoT board ($30) - Wi-Fi, mics, speaker, battery charging built in - 3.7V 500mAh LiPo ($10) - JST 1.25 connector adapters ($15 for 20) - ESP32-S3 polls my radio's API over Wi-Fi every 20s → renders a "broadcast console" UI on the 200×200 e-paper - Hold-to-talk: dual mics record → WAV upload → server transcribes w/ OpenAI → posts to the live chat via websocket, pinned as the station owner (API-key auth) - Backend is my Wasp app (React/Node/Prisma) on Railway over 3 tiny endpoints: /status, /chat, /voice-chat - Firmware: PlatformIO + Arduino, GxEPD2 for the display, Waveshare's ES8311 codec drivers for the mic - Runs on battery, fully standalone Built the whole thing in a morning w Claude Fable 5. server endpoints, firmware. A really cool bit was mocking up possible UIs for the esp32 e-paper display using Claude's artifacts. Check out my mixes/shows at

I run Claude Code with Qwen3 Coder Flash locally on my MacBook Air. It works offline, zero cloud, zero internet. No limit with all tokens on the house. Not great, not terrible- adequate performance for an on device AI agent chewing through code on a 1.24 kg laptop.

In 1993 I built this device in my garage that MIT said in 2016 treats Alzheimer’s. Today I use a device built by a company in Canada. But I am working on a new device with a local AI model to operate and track the progress. Here is my 1993 pile of junk, yes I was so cheap I use PVC pipes as my container.

Loop engineering is great until something breaks. Here is how I improve the reliability of my agentic loops. I use human-in-the-loop (HITL). It's easy and extremely effective. Anyone can build this. My setup: I recorded a quick demo of how it all works. I shared recently that I now use more voice agents to build and communicate with agents. I also use them to verify. I hate the idea of being tied down to my computer or in a Slack channel to communicate with my agents. Here is what I have done to streamline communication with my agents. All my Claude and Codex agent sessions now use the Dial MCP server. It has a bunch of tools and provisions my agents with their own number that can place calls as native tools, with voice, SMS, and iMessage behind one interface. As my loops/automations work on PRs and new features, my agents escalate decisions to me via a short phone call. This is extremely useful when I am on the road or away from my desk. If you want to try this with Claude Code or Codex, paste this into your agent and get started right away: "Get yourself a Dial phone number and call me. I can control your balance I made a device that sends DC current through my head to stimulate my vestibular nerve (called galvanic vestibular stimulation or GVS) and, in doing so, can make me feel completely destabilised. By changing the direction of the current, it can make me fall in that direction. Hook that up to keyboard controls or a joystick, and suddenly you could have your own remote control human. Naturally, my first thought was man I wanna play trackmania with this. What else should I do? I do not have enough self-preservation, clearly lol #gvs #technology #science #trackmania

I prefer my design tool to be more closely integrated with where my agents work. I spent a few hours building my own design tool (inspired by Claude Design) inside my orchestrator. I can use this with Codex, Claude, or any model. Opus 4.7 works best for now. Doing more tests.

This afternoon I picked up a new Nvidia DGX Spark computer with the goal of trying to run Gemma 4 31b (4bit) on it locally as a server. Just 1.5 hours later, it’s working! Using Open WebUI on my MacBook as the interface and it’s connecting to my DGX Spark running as a Gemma 4 server.
