You hosted a space where Igbo hate was preached, you were laughing and when someone tried to tone it down a bit that was your response because you think young Igbos would open a space to denigrate Yorubas. It's so sad tbvh, because i still can't believe it. I can understand fighting for yourself and your tribe but speaking with so much vileness about a people on a space nahh.

Before online gaming and widespread broadband internet, we had LAN parties. You would haul your 80 lb CRT, computer tower, and peripherals over to your friend's house and hook them up on a makeshift desk. Then you would proceed to take the next 3 hours installing the game and game crack you wanted to play with your friends; by this point it was 11 pm and no real gaming had occurred yet. At around 1 am you would be mid game and someone would get hungry - so everyone would head down to Taco Bell for a late night snack. It was the best of times.

✨ I've brought back from the dead It was my first visual AI project in 2022, and it's this project that generated random ArchDaily-style architecture designs that made me realize AI image models could do interior design That led me to make which then led me to finetune my first interior design model which then for fun I uploaded my own photos too, which led me to make and then pivoted that in to So this project has a special place for me It was still alive but wasn't generating new designs anymore because it ran on Stable Diffusion 1.5 which was outdated and everything stopped working about a year ago I've now migrated it to its own Hetzner VPS now, which means I can run Claude Code on the server with it, and cleaned it up and upgraded it to the latest AI image models (including Nano Banana Pro) It now generates about 12 new designs every day again, and you can up or downvote the ones you like or don't like!

My son had a baseball game tonight in a Jersey town a lot less red than my own, and as my daughter and I pulled into a store for the requisite game snacks, a lovely and kind woman saw us and she said she enjoyed the things I write on here. And honestly, with the amount of hate I get on here (yes trolls, bravo) it was just so wonderful to hear. And so, if she’s out there and happens to read this, my little girl said it made her “feel proud of her mom”, so thank you for that. And thank you for your kindness. It meant the world to me. ❤️ Oh, and my boy got a huge hit too. So, it was a 10/10 kind of night.

A bunch of people mentioned bolt.new (cc Eric Simons) so I thought I'd try it out and see how the SEO compares for vibe coders prompt: --- create a directory with mock items, each with its own URL IMPORTANT: the entire project MUST be server side rendered for SEO --- result: It one-shot a full Astro app, complete with breadcrumbs, category links, images, and importantly... all of the content is visible in the source, which is much better for getting crawled, indexed, and ranked in google and LLMs I've been sleeping on Bolt, but damn this was a smooth process

For my birthday dinner, I had General Cary's beef (made with honey), atop a pile of fancy white rice. It's not a cheat meal because I don't expect to get away with anything. My body will hold me fully accountable for my actions. I'll probably be a little bloated and very unmotivated for the rest of the day but today's a good day for that. How was the sauce? It was freaking amazing. Had it been a little less sweeter and had I used half as much orange zest, it would have been 10 instead of a 9. If enough people comment "Recipe", I'll throw own together for you.

LEIA IS HOME! Simon and I were settling in for a long night. No way I’d sleep with Leia missing. Suddenly at 11:31pm, the doorbell goes, I look to Simon and ran to the door (and I’m not allowed to run because of my disability), knowing it would have to be news about Leia and there she was! The neighbour down the road was about to go to bed but her cats kept growling at something outside so she opened the curtain and there Leia was. She recognised her from our whatsapp messages and the flyer, grabbed a carrier and managed to lure her inside with treats. She knew this return could not wait until the morning. You can hear me sobbing when I see it is my Leia. Thank you all for your messages. It has been a flipping awful day yet filled with so much love and support.

If you ever get the chance to go to Normandy, take it. Don't just visit it-take your time and let it sink in, because it is one of the most humbling experiences I've ever had. Standing there, looking out across those beaches, you can almost feel the weight of what happened there. It's hard to fully understand what those soldiers went through until you're standing in that place, realizing the courage it took just to run toward that shore. The beauty of Normandy is quiet and powerful, but so is the sacrifice it represents. The rows of white crosses, the history in the ground, the silence in the air-it all reminds you that freedom came at a tremendous cost. It's the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. It makes you grateful, reflective, and a little more aware of how much was given for the life we live today.
