Not ashamed to say I am extremely excited for the final season of STRANGER THINGS, which I still think is one of the most fully realized and best directed TV shows on air. The lows are low, but the highs feel like blockbuster magic. I can’t but love this:

Coded out this optical effect I'd seen last week... you should be able to pause the video any time, and the cube will disappear! Which kinda makes sense, as its not flipping the pixels, so you don't see the movement, but still its a cool one!

Bit of gamedev magic. The page flipping in Exiled is actually just a bunch of models that I turn on and off quickly to LOOK like a page flipping. It's possible to get a similar effect with plugins but this was the easier option.

got rocked today by one of the most intense bursts of wind I’ve ever experienced. I was able to run out to the open field and measure 81mph on a handheld anemometer, but that was likely enhanced. More realistic would be 65-70mph. Video was taken after I ran back inside 😂
