Once they showed that scene along with the Tulsa scene it was a wrap. Like it took the wind out, notice that Watchmen was canceled the SAME YEAR & only had one season as well.

Ahhh this show is STILL one of the best tv shows ever created, just the concept of taking a horror writer’s who was racist creations and recreating and spinning it on its head was just pure genius, was completely distraught when I found out HBO cancelled it 💔😭

It was actually because of the vision for the second season was to become another zombie show which no one really wanted and the showrunner already created a hostile work environment, right after that Majors had his legal troubles which put the final nail in the coffin.

Now add why they took Anansi the Spider from American Gods man they took some great shows away from the people

They didn't revive the show because the toxic ass show runner had the rights to it and self destructed her career. Ask the staff that worked on the show

I absolutely loved this show. I was so pissed it got canceled. I binged the whole thing in a day and was so upset I had no one to talk with about it 😭

Well that and the author only wrote 1 book involving that story line. His other stuff is good too

Nah it’s because Miesha Greene is an idiot and killed every chance to make a sequel killing off pivotal characters with no reason. There’s a sequel to the book called destroyer of worlds read both and you’ll understand why.
