I'm pretty sure we're about ten years away from all having a second immune system of nanobots cruising our blood stream fixing things, killing cancer cells, viruses etc

Looking at these, they appear to be a more sophisticated form of a magnetic stirrer bar - smaller and more numerous, of course. The sophistication comes from the magnetic effector controlling them - that's far more interesting to me.
