The science behind magnets is fascinating

🚨MAGNETISM in a nutshell Atoms contain charged particles: protons (positive) and electrons (negative). When electrons spin and move, they create tiny magnetic fields. In most materials, these fields cancel out because the electrons spin in random directions. But in magnetic materials, like iron, nickel, and cobalt, the electron spins can align in the same direction, creating a strong magnetic field. This alignment happens in small regions called magnetic domains. When the domains align, the material becomes a magnet! The force of magnetism is carried by magnetic fields—invisible areas around a magnet where its force can attract or repel. These fields are strongest at the poles (north and south). Opposites attract, while like poles repel.
