How fucking stupid or purposely ignorant do you have to be to think that those businesses are not going to pass those costs along to the customer? And then to think that Trump would get a pass on that because it’s not him that’s doing it to people. It’s the businesses

When a customer visits my business and tells me they can find an item I’m trying to sell them cheaper on Amazon, there is no way I’m eating a single cent of increased tariff costs.

I wish Gasparino was sitting here to explain to Jesse how tariffs work because it is a tax on the consumer. You see headlines like Walmart raising prices up to 51%. They’re doing that because they are not going to eat the tariffs. They are going to pass it to you.
