From reading the transcript, I think Trump was referring to both sides of the **statue removal issue**. I agree, and I certainly oppose the removal of even Confederate statues, obviously not from any "white supremacy" angle.

That’s a good thing.” So he goes from saying Trump didn’t obliterate it… to admitting it caused serious damage and “that’s a good thing.” Amazing how quickly the Dem argument folds under even a little pushback.
