Omg, what a shame... Telegram doesn't have a full encryption unlike Whatsapp, Signal or Messenger where all chats are fully encrypted.

Does it really matter if Telegram is wide open and WhatsApp has a back door ? It gets the same result: surveillance. Anyone who believes that any product associated with Zuckerberg isn’t compromised is dreaming. The US State Department runs Meta.

Even if the news is wrong about this, it just doesn’t matter if people are upgrading to the newest tech. using e2e encryption won’t matter when these chips have access to everything you do and the internet, and people too lazy to look into it.

When the scales come off your eyes you’ll understand that the US would never permit mountains of data to be encrypted and controlled by private parties. And you’ll understand that Meta, Signal, Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc. products are all compromised.

There’s a lot of criticism of Telegram, but to call it insecure or as some have said, “wide open”, is just false. The stuff stored online is encrypted and requires your account to decrypt it. E2E does exist if you choose to use it. Any examples of Telegram being broken into?

This is why the US tech companies employ so many former FBI and CIA spooks. And why the chairman and the president of Signal both have ties to the CIA; and why Signal had a back door in its desktop app for years.

What are the right #privacy options in your opinion? There is a 'secret chat' feature in @telegram

Consider using the StellarPixel 6A running StellarOS. A constantly active VPN and a USB detector designed to destroy the phone if any data extraction attempts are made. To ensure the highest level of security, pair it with Session and Signal. /
