The USMCA is Federal Law. No POTUS can unilaterally toss a law. Not his job. It's a 16 year agreement signed into law. It's up for review for extension in 2026. If the U.S. decides it wants out, there are still 10 years of annual reviews to go. The law does not expire until 2036.

The exit clause requires a Congressional vote to repeal the law. Not happening anytime soon.

It was put into law in 2020 with a House vote of 385-41, followed by the Senate with a 89-10 vote. Those are bulletproof numbers.
