Into the manufacturing section of we can read "During the procedure, a number of issues were highlighted relating to the GMP status of the manufacture of the active substance and of the testing sites of the finished product for the purpose of batch release. These issues were classified as a Major Objection (MO). After further information was obtained from the sites and inspectors, the MO was considered resolved. EU GMP certificates for the manufacturing and testing sites were subsequently obtained. In conclusion, appropriate manufacturing authorisations and GMP certificates are in place for all active substance and finished product manufacturing sites." ??? Authorization without ANY RESULTS of efficacy ???? Authorization with immunogenicity and safety data on 250 participants ?????
Christine, The 95% was the Relative Risk Reduction the Absolute Risk Reduction 0.84% is the important measurement as it is used to calculate the number needed to vaccinate NNV. The public has been deceived by fear, obfuscation and dis/misinformation promoted by a paid press.
yes you're right but according to the guidelines to analyse vaccines into clinical trial, the main criterion, the vaccine efficacy is assessed by the RRR
It looks like ALL they had was self reported adverse events ONLY up to 14 weeks after the 2nd dose (from your link nejm 10.10.20)
