Not getting married while serving as an ADC is being described as a “sacrifice”—really? Major Rishabh, you would have enjoyed the privileges that come with such an important appointment. I am disappointed when a SF officer describe a personal event like this a sacrifice.

The appointment of an Armd Forces officer as ADC to the President is not a forced appointment. Only the willing selected officer is appointed.

That kind of sacrifice rarely gets talked about. Serving the country at that level means putting your own personal life on hold for years. Respect🇮🇳

Toh kya jab join kiya thaa tab yeh sab nahi pata thaa kya. Reel katwane ka jo chaska laga h naa logo ko woh dubba dega is desh ko. Armed forces k personal ke liye rule hona chahiye ki kam se kam 5 saal after retirement woh koi interview naa de services se related.

these clauses are already known before joining and he must have applied for that position... the issue must have been if he wasn't allowed to retire if he was wanting to..

Amazing level we have descended to. If not getting married is a sacrifice, well, boo-ho-ho. In Armed Forces, there was this written rule that young offrs shouldn’t get married till the age 25 (& get tied to petticoats & perambulators) so that they can focus on their profession.
