Elimination of Sameer Tiger: Major Shukla entered the house and neutralized the A++ category Hizbul terrorist Sameer Tiger in a face-to-face combat; another terrorist, Aqib Mushtaq, was also killed. Major Shukla was wounded he sustained a gunshot wound to his chest during the intense firefight but he succeeded in eliminating both terrorists.
