Stop with the fearmongering. Scanning a QR code literally just takes you to a website. That’s it. It can’t “steal all your information from your phone.” Just don’t enter any information into said website. Simple as that. Gullible boomers don’t know how QR codes work 🤦🏻‍♂️

For anyone who still needs to hear this: Ain't nothing for free. If you didn't ask to receive correspondence, it's a scam, whether that's paper or digital(especially digital).

I heard the packages come to you with a letter that says " If this wasn't meant for you ... Scan this barcode to send it back" ... Fyi - you send me anything in the mail that I didn't order, I'm keeping it and you can get bent. Please send me free stuff 😆

This has been my fear with QR codes, I don’t scan any of those damn things, and now they are common for money transfers. SMH

I got a phone call from the border patrol saying they have a package addressed to me and they needed to get it to me asap and please would I verify my address. I told them no way you’re a scammer. The lady with a foreign accent started yelling at me saying give me your address now. The package we got is full of drugs and we need to know what you know about this or we will have you arrested. She kept asking what is your address? I hung up on her. BTW I haven’t had a drug or alcohol for 16 years. So it’s not mine….lol
