The song really slams it home for me. Maybe it’s this way for all generations, but honestly, we had no idea what was coming for us. Rapidly. Our lives changed almost overnight with this thing they called a Personal Home Computer. I could kind of literally reach out in the dark and find people to talk to. Decades ago and I’m still friends with the first guy I accidentally found out there before chat rooms. The music. Kids are making a living sitting at home making videos of themselves reacting to the legendary music of our day. And I’m hooked on watching one young hip hop artist take the suggestions of his rapidly growing followers because I love his reactions, but also because I get to hear this music even I’d forgotten about again.
