Most don't know that Coca-Cola is the largest importer of coca leaves that they extract their secret flavor and the byproduct is pure cocaine that is sold to the pharmaceutical companies. Still a protected "Trade Secret".

Love this recipe. I would just add that Homemade soda pop is better with seltzer which is just carbonated water if you just want the clear taste, not the canned flavored sparkling water which seems to always have a bitter aftertaste.👍

Just made this with my kids. We had high hopes for at least something close. It’s GROSS. Tastes like burnt toast with some sugar in it. Really disappointing.

I'm one of those annoying people that have never had a soda past a sip. I have no clue how people drink carbonated drinks. Funny though my husband would drink soda every day. I couldn't stand that sound of the cap being opened and the pssst of the carbonation then the sound of him closing the bottle don't have a sound for that.😄. After 20yrs of that sound I said I'm divorcing you if I hear that one more time. It's been 10 yrs of silence. Of course I wanted him to stop drinking it because it's really bad for you.

A real Cokeaholic here, I can't imagine how this would taste like the real deal. The problem is that I think I could buy two cases of Coke cheaper than making one batch of this💁🏻‍♀️

Its close but come still has coca leaves in it with the cocaine removed.
