Vertical farming proves we can live in abundance and feed our communities locally instead of mega corporations centralising everything

Hydroponics...everything looks great but has 0 taste. Growing food in the ground is the only right way.

Hydro or aero uses a ton of chems and tbh won't taste as good as in the dirt crops due to the lack of microbiota and micro nutrients that plants need.

everyone talking about the plants needing soil, they dont - they need a medium to grow in. supplemental, organic nutrients can be in liquid form and plants grow very quick in a hydroponic system he knows exactly what he's doing and cares for the plants very well

do you think there’s anything wrong with eating vegetables that are hydroponically grown instead of in soil? Essentially what I’m asking is if hydroponic growing in water with added nutrients, minerals, etc. is sufficient for healthy and nutritious food, or if soil is necessary component?
