How can a person survive that many years on this Earth and be this fucking stupid? It's got to be just engagement farming by destroying all credibility

@grok Please explain in a simple way why the sun and the moon can be seen at the same time on the side of the planet on daylight. Generate a diagram if possible, for educational purposes.

No, the sun is not always on the opposite side of the globe.

How did you get as old as you are and not notice that before?

Engagement farming bullshit or did you just discover the earth isn't flat?

The video makes sense. The sun reflects light off the moon. Looks dim because it is daytime. We were taught that daily we see the sun come up in the morning and go down at night. We are not taught that about the moon. Nothing strange about seeing both in a daytime sky.

I don’t question creation just admire its beauty and feel blessed for each miraculous day.

We need to go to the sun at night to figure out what’s going on

The sun was to my back and moon in front of me.

The world is not a globe, and it is not unusual for the moon to come out at the same time, I have seen the moon in daylight ever since I was a child, perhaps looking into the mud flood might be more productive

The Moon orbits the Earth and the Earth orbits the Sun. The Moon is very close, while the Sun is very, very far away. Even though the Sun isn't a huge star, it's huge compared to the Earth. The Moon is between a quarter to a third the size of the Earth, so the Moon's smaller than the Earth and teeny compared to the Sun. In your post, you are seeing two very differently sized bodies at two very different distances from the Earth in their proper position for the date and time of the recording. Now, what would have been really strange is if the dark side of the moon had been facing the Sun instead of the bright side in your video. As your video is presented, nothing looks strange.

Makes perfect sense.. the moon orbits, it’s daytime.. that’s its position in the orbit.. what’s not making sense?

So earth and the moon together go round the earth. The moon goes round the earth 13.5 times a year. Same time earth only goes round the sun one time. Its in that difference that the sun and moon can be seen in the same sky. k

Heres the explanation used… The Sun and Moon can be in the sky at the same time because the Moon orbits Earth and is not locked opposite the Sun. Earth turns once a day, so the Sun is above the horizon for roughly half of each rotation (daytime). The Moon takes about 27.3 days to orbit Earth, so its position relative to the Sun changes continuously. Only near full Moon is the Moon roughly opposite the Sun: it rises around sunset and sets around sunrise, so the two barely overlap above the horizon. In every other phase they share the sky for hours. • Around first quarter (about a week after new Moon), the Moon is high in the afternoon and early evening sky. • Around third quarter (about a week after full Moon), it is high in the late-night and morning sky, often still visible after sunrise. • Crescent and gibbous phases fill in the times in between. A thin crescent stays relatively close to the Sun in the sky; a gibbous Moon can be up for most of the day or night. You see the Moon in daylight because it reflects sunlight. It is much dimmer than the Sun, so the blue sky reduces contrast and it can look pale or washed out, but it is still bright enough to spot when it is well above the horizon and not too close to the Sun’s glare. The same geometry produces solar and lunar eclipses only when the alignment is nearly exact; ordinary daytime Moon sightings need no special alignment beyond both bodies simply being above your local horizon.

The moon orbits the earth every 27.3 days. The earth is rotating every 24 hours. Depending where you are in rotation and moon is in orbit changes what position you see the moon in constantly.

It's never too late to pick up a basic geometry study book, any age, there's no shame in not knowing stuff. BTW you can use AI assistant very effectively to quickly fill in the gaps in basic school education

It’s called different orbits. The moon is circling the earth and the earth and moon are both circling the sun. I guess you never took astronomy in school.

If you think about distances it will all make sense. The sun is really fsr away. Lay out rocks on the ground.
