Make it make sense. I'm just asking questions.

We know who he voted for. How did he reach his 50s without seeing the moon and the sun in the sky at rhe same time? To anwser his question: The Sun and Moon aren't on opposite sides of a clock; they move at different speeds on two completely separate paths across the sky. Because the Moon takes nearly a month to orbit Earth while the Earth rotates daily, the Moon's path constantly overlaps with the daytime sky, putting both in your line of sight at once.

Sorry, no amount of explaining will help his 2yr old mentality understand simple planetary physics. I'd like to watch his head explode when he's under a solar eclipse.

The Moon orbits the Earth once per month. The Earth rotates on its axis once per day. The Moon moves across the sky in relation to everything else so each day it is in a different place in relation to the Sun. What's the mystery here?

Think monkey, think.

First time out of the basement?

I'll say it several ways. The sun is 400 times farther away than the moon. The angle formed between you, the sun, and the moon is no greater than 0.15 degrees. The line from you to the sun and from the moon to the sun are, for all intents and purposes, parallel. The sun's rays are striking both the earth and the moon from almost exactly the same direction.

There are books that explain it. Astronomy 101. You’ll be absolutely blown away by what causes the seasons, too.

6th grade earth science man...or just freaking Google it...the moon is alway there orbiting the earth...and guess what the sun is always there as earth and its moon orbit it..just because its day time doesn't mean you can't see the moon it depends on its position and phase its in

I notice the moon sometimes in the day time and during the day It looks smaller and night the moon is bigger maybe China doesn't get a night moon if we have it during the day 😄

The moon rotates around the earth the earth rotates around the sun they are not stationary

What’s the fucking question?!?!

That's actually a nice demonstration that the sun is much further away than the moon. From the shape of the illuminated part of the moon we can tell that the lines moon-sun and observer-sun are essentially parallel.

It's night time on the other side of the world and they're missing their moon there.

Yes it’s called observational solar rotational dynamics. Created by Fruit loops cereal in a box! Obviously people are noticing things are no longer adding up! Watch to see if sun goes past and behind the moon, which should happen in a few hours! The earth and moon should rote east to west.

What time of day is it?

Because the guy who’s talking in this video must be dumb as a box of rocks

Maybe take an online class or go back to school. We learned all this in school, bro.

Proof that the terminator line (or light) of the moon is NOT caused by the sun. Draw the angles. Draw the terminator perpendicular line and see where it points. NOT at the sun. Not rocket science.

Does it hurt?

....where is the moon SUPPOSED to be my guy?....

Works fine on both models

Can someone explain to me what this chap is struggling to understand?

This is what happens when you don’t pass high school.

He kind of reminds me of that joke about the Pollock astronaut who tells international astronauts that Poland is going to the sun next they ask how is that possible and his response is "oh we have it all planned out we're going to go at night!" 🤣

Learn astrology then you would have a better understanding. It’s called lunar cycles.

The Moon and the Sun move across the sky along their own independent paths. In the flat-Earth model, they are always opposite each other.

Does it change if the moon is behind a tree?

What an arsehole thing to think

What’s the issue?

People are seriously so fucking retarded these days, I wish everyday a comet or asteroid wipes us out. Or at the very least, our star wipes out our tech.

Not too be mean... But why don't you look up infornation on our solar system. It's so simple to understand your question that your making yourself look stupid for not knowing this by learning it. It's obvious to most people.

Story goes.. that the moon rotates around the earth, yes, and so is smaller than the earth. Now. The earth rotates around the sun, which makes the earth smaller than the sun. Can you rotate that appel in your head now, you retard. Ever heard of an eclipsem

I'd say send this moron back to grade school, but since education sucks these days it would probably make him worse.

I get the same.
