Can’t help but laugh waking up seeing that @andyroddick + @steftsitsipas are bitching about the @atptour schedule not being the most accommodating for players and their happiness/wellbeing. Meanwhile, the ATP literally gave these two the platforms and the direct paychecks which have brought generational wealth to their families at a young age ALL DUE TO PLAYING TENNIS. These guys (especially Andy) used those platforms to create businesses and other endeavors outside of tennis, but both can thank the @atptour directly for the massive sponsorship deals and appearance fees they have happily collected to bring in millions of dollars a year. All so that they can turn around to whine and bitch that the corporation which gave them all of these opportunities is not accommodating them enough! So sad for you guys! Tough lives 😂😂

I agree Paris was perfect because of indoor. I Think the one week are too much relaying on good weather. One day washout and we are in big trouble with players playing 2 matches in one day like in Montreal this year. The 10 day masters gives room for this.

I called it right away when it was announced. Initially from a fan perspective as I need to spend more $ for more days and still see less matches. While concept was non fan-friendly and now with the injury issues due to lack of recovery time it should die a quick death but won't!

They call it GS format (duration 12days & main draw of 96 players so 1 more round . Next year from Canadian Open to Cynci to USO the 3 events will overlap non stop for a total of 36days . Not sure in the end if players will keep coming to Canada or will just skip it . Not fun

It doesn't. Not only is it bad for the players, who are the most important in the equation, but it sucks for the fans, too. I CAN'T AFFORD to be off work another whole week, not to mention another whole week for hotel & food?! AND the jacked up whole series ticket prices?!
