Been using Grok Build these past few days, and the thing that really got me hooked is Imagine and Imagine Video. I built a full dinosaur encyclopedia site — every image, every video clip on it, all generated by Grok itself. A dad’s greatest skill is knowing when to lose. I honestly love that he saw the prank through the door and didn't even hesitate to ruin his afternoon just to give them a win. Most of us would’ve yelled about the cleaning up, but he understood that those few seconds of chaos were worth way more than a tidy hallway. It’s a masterclass in "letting them win" because when you let your kids 'get' you, you’re actually teaching them that they’re clever enough to take on the world and build everlasting memories.

As a father of two young kids, I keep thinking about this from Dara: "I think we're doing our kids a disservice by giving them too much, being around too much. You want to love your kids, you want to know that they're absolutely loved and appreciated. But it's the challenges in life that form you, and it's the overcoming of these challenges that give humans a profound satisfaction. If you as a parent are overcoming these challenges for your kids, you're actually doing them a disservice long-term, whereas short-term you think you're doing them a favor. They've got to learn how to make it in this world themselves. A happy life is not necessarily an easy life."

This guy created an automated script that calls back spam callers and absolutely torments them. When they answer, it blasts them with an endless loop of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”… and then it keeps calling them back again and again until the spam company is forced to block his number — which is exactly what he wants. I’m convinced this guy created a million dollar idea and he should turn this into a real app! Sometimes the best way to deal with life’s little annoyances is with clever creativity and a good sense of humor — turning frustration into something that actually makes you smile.
