Make this make sense. Biden admin removed the Houthis from the Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) list in 2021. Now the Biden admin is bombing the Houthis. President Biden even admitted Houthis are a “terrorist group.” Yet the Houthis are still delisted. But PKK, a Kurdish group who fought ISIS...

Funny you said "because Turkey said so, not because America thinks so." 😄

On the thousands of ISIS militants held in prisons in NE Syria: Remember that the US partnering with the YPG (later SDF) started in a real way during the battle for Kobani, at which point the Americans could no longer hide that Turkey was supporting ISIS (though they still did deny it). Turkey wasn't a reliable partner in fighting ISIS, which shouldn't be something that has to be pointed out; the foreign jihadis landed at Turkish airports and freely crossed the Turkish border. Jihadis could pass back and forth as needed for supplies, weapons, medical treatment...ISIS even launched an attack on the Kobani border gate from inside Turkey. But America is not and has not been earnestly invested in fighting ISIS since the defeat of its caliphate. The 7 years of ISIS whack-a-mole since gave the US an excuse to maintain a presence in Syria. That pretense is no longer necessary. It might become necessary again, and there will be plenty of ISIS flourishing if and when that time comes. So if it seems like the very serious matter of dangerous terrorists being unleashed on the region is being somewhat ignored by the Western powers responsible for engineering the Syria mess, that's because it is. But when you have a government comprised of a former Al-Qaeda affiliate with a healthy dose of former ISIS and extremist foreign militants in the mix, what difference does 10kish freed ISIS prisoners make? And that’s not accounting for the many boys and adolescents who have become men in the mini-caliphate of the al-Hol camp, yet another time bomb the Americans hoisted on the SDF.

Breaking News video Turkish President Erdogan has signaled to the Turkish intelligence chief to organize jihadist groups in Syria (a mix of ISIS and al-Qaeda) to prepare for and take over the Kurdish city of Kobani in coming days. For this purpose, and to prepare for the attack, he ordered Abu Mohammed al-Jolani to keep the Kurds occupied with a ceasefire and gain their trust, so that the jihadists can launch a surprise attack while the Kurds believe they will not be attacked due to the agreement with Damascus. To prevent the besieged city of Kobani from receiving assistance from Kurds in Turkey, he ordered deep trenches to be dug along the border to stop Turkish Kurds from crossing to assist Syrian Kurds during the operation . All Turkish-backed jihadists and Syrian army jihadists are said to disguise themselves as ISIS and commit a massive crime against humanity in the city. To avoid legal responsibility, al-Jolani is expected to keep the Kurds occupied with the ceasefire while the Turkish army, Syrian army, and jihadists—disguised as ISIS—take over the city. The attack on Kobani is expected to be far worse than the attack on Kurdish neighbourhoods in Aleppo. Turkey continues to send reinforcements to the jihadists. Turkey has approximately 105,000 radical Islamist jihadists in Syria , all receiving orders from Turkey. Any decision al-Jolani makes in Syria can allegedly be revoked or cancelled at any time by Turkey, and any ceasefire he agrees to is meaningless if it does not pass through the Turkish filter. Note: The Kurdish city of Kobani has been under siege by the Syrian regime and Turkey-backed jihadists. Water, electricity, phone service, and internet access have been cut off for more than 15 days. 📍Well would you look at that. This was Senator Graham not so long ago. ▪️“The YPG element is integrated with the PKK, just read their manifesto.” ▪️“There is lots of evidence about the YPG-PKK link.” ▪️“The US created the YPG problem and it needs to fix it, we owe it to Turkey, we created a problem for Turkey.” ▪️“It was a dumb idea to rely on the YPG, it proved to be a dumb idea, I saw this coming a long time ago.” ▪️“Obama did a huge mistake in relying on the YPG Kurds.” ▪️“We’ve got to make sure that Turkey is protected from this threat in Syria.” ▪️“I agree with Turkey that this is the dumbest idea in the world.” ▪️“We’re arming people inside Syria aligned with a terrorist group.” I wonder what has changed. If you’re so worried about that “huge mistake” that was made and the “dumb idea” Obama came up with, there you go, that mistake has now been fixed by the Syrian government which is busy cleaning up your mess after you, you’re welcome. If you’re worried about the threat to Turkey, there you go, the threat is about to largely disappear, at least in Syria. And it sure seems odd that you’re now suddenly worried about the well-being of an organization which you have repeatedly acknowledged to be an offshoot of a terrorist group recognized by the US as such. You once seemed worried about having created a problem for Turkey and now you’re really complaining about Turkey being involved in the process in Syria, which by the way is a direct matter of its national security? The very national security, that you acknowledged to having endangered by arming the YPG? Nothing you say makes any sense. Especially since it makes you look like you support a terror group. After all it was you who said that the YPG is linked to the PKK with lots of evidence confirming it.

The SDF should disarm then and give all ISIS fighters in custody of the SDF including the 10.000 high value prisoners to HTS and Turkey like so many experts suggest - give it 1 year and the world will realise what they’ve done. Every policy maker, expert and Turkey must be held accountable when the Islamic State takes over Syria once again. 📍 Al Hol Camp - home to ≈60000 ISIS detainees “Did you hear the news about the Turkish attack“ asks the reporter „Yes, we heard and we are waiting for them (Turkey) it’s good for us“ answers the ISIS detainee „…we will bring back a new caliphate… like before and even better… we will take over a lot of land“ „ISIS won’t end“ „We want you to broadcast this across the world: The Islamic state will return!“ When the Islamic state puts your woman into cages and burns your men alive again, no one should call for *The Akrad* (Kurds) When the Islamic State calls for their cells in Europe and the USA - and their cells start to blow themselves up or run over people in your cities again - no one should even dare to ask Kurds to confront the Islamic State. There will be no one else to form a coalition against the Islamic State - experts/Journalists should ask the new-Syrian government why they aren’t confronting the Islamic State cells in the Syrian desert. Will the world form a coalition with Turkey against ISIS? Turkey did not only openly support the Islamic State but they also build the *Jihadi Highway* a route for Jihadists to travel in and out of Syria via Turkey into the world. Will the west confront the Islamic State with the Turkish led SNA? The very same SNA which has countless of former ISIS fighters in their ranks?

This is perhaps one of the most candid acknowledgments from a KDP official regarding the depth of their ties with Turkey: Hoshyar Zebari states that the KDP is not only close to Turkey but saying, “We don’t hide anything from each other.” He goes on to praise Turkey’s treatment of civilians, claiming that it has shown more mercy and kindness than the PKK. When challenged by the reporter—who references conversations with local civilians—Zebari responds, “I know these locals better. Turkey isn’t preventing them from going about their daily lives or mistreating them”. Zebari also acknowledges direct intelligence cooperation, noting that the KDP knows the terrain better than the Turks. He adds that individuals arrested in the area are typically those collaborating with the PKK. When the report displays a map showing Turkish military bases scattered across the region, Zebari explains that their presence dates back to 1992, citing the threat posed by the PKK. He says that the KDP is fully aware of the extent of Turkey’s deployment, adding that he knows the location of Turkish posts “like the palm of my hand.” When pressed further about the scale of Turkey’s military footprint, Zebari responds bluntly: “You know what? We are fine with that.” The report states that Turkey currently maintains 136 bases and outposts across the KDP-controlled areas of the Kurdistan Region of which 121 of these—around 89%—have been established since 2018. Interestingly, the documentary also features PUK leader Bafel Talabani, who argues that Turkey uses the war against the PKK as a pretext for its military presence. He claims that Turkish forces have a far great presence than U.S. troops in the region, and that the Turkish deployment primarily serves to protect the KDP. Talabani also claims that cooperation between Turkey and the KDP goes beyond military coordination, encompassing intelligence-sharing as well.
