Jacket is being removed because zippers are usually metal. Hence if they allow jacket without scan, then they may conceal something which might get missed. If Burqa came with metal zippers then I'm sure the rule will be modified then

AFAIK , the burqa is checked thoroughly by the lady constable and even burqa wearing ppl have to remove all metals,belt and anything that metal detector can detect..With burqa u can’t just hide anything under and pass through security
