Fundamental keys of “catch play.” Specifically improving your ability to receive the baseball … using good “actions” to catch the ball. It’s the first thing coaches, recruiters and scouts notice while watching you throw. Do you catch the ball “cleanly? Do you dominate the catch?” And do you develop good habits by moving your feet (within reason) to receive the ball inside your shoulders… which allows for a quicker transition to throw. This is especially important for infielders and catchers. And as simple as this next point might seem, do you know when to catch with 2 hands vs 1? If they start teaching their sons the games women play like this instead of teaching them only how to respect and care for a woman, there wouldn’t any simps out there. WE NEED PASSES THAT DON’T MATTER My college coach used to say this all the time. We need passes that connect our offense, and build rhythm. If every player tries to make a play on every catch, the momentum of the ball stops. A simple way every player can help their offense is by consciously making an effort to keep the ball moving and make ‘passes that don’t matter’ You’ll get the ball back, I promise!!
