In all my years of playing Pokemon, I never naturally got a starter pokemon as female, and the only time I ever tried was with Sprigatito (after countless resets)

This is true for all startes , even the very feminine ones like primarina, I am not sure of the reason, some say its a balance thing, some say its a remenant from a gen2 mechanic that no longer exist. All IK is that outside the games GF doesnt care about these gender ratios.
