Making America healthy again includes providing opportunities to help people recover from addiction. I consider my addiction one of the biggest gifts that I've ever had, because I had access to a 12-step program that gave me insights and wisdom to first help myself and then the ability to... show more

Knowing you work your program daily makes you the most honest person in politics sir. I say that from my own experience in both sides of my family. . It takes humility and courage to talk about your story and mental health work. Appreciate your forthrightness.

President Clinton's message on America 250. "America is bigger than anybody's personal hopes and dreams. The country will survive by the freedom to speak, freedom to vote, freedom to be active in politics. I am grateful that I had a chance to make maximum use of the talents that God gave me to help other people."

Make America Healthy Again includes helping people with addiction. Last year, more than 100,000 people died in the U.S. from drug overdoses. We need to address this crisis and provide opportunities for recovery.

Three years ago today, I became the first Member of UK Parliament to speak publicly about being in recovery. Since then, countless people told me their own stories of addiction. I remain determined to tackle the stigma that stops many from seeking help.

Addiction didn’t only affect me. My family lived through it too. My mom watched me struggle for years, never knowing what addiction would take from me next. In 2015, at one of my lowest points, I was alone about to use heroin when she called. She had no idea what I was doing. She just had a bad feeling and needed to know I was okay. That moment has stayed with me throughout my recovery. Getting sober gave me the chance to rebuild the relationships addiction had damaged, to show up differently as a son, and eventually become a husband and father myself. Today, those experiences are part of why the work we do at The Archangel Centers means so much to me. I know what addiction does to the person struggling, but I’ve also seen what it does to the people who love them. Recovery gave my mom her son back. And I’ll never take that for granted. If you or someone you love is struggling, we’re here to help. (888) 464-2144

After his inspiring victory yesterday at the Houston Open, Gary Woodland spoke about his decision to open up about his PTSD after recovery from brain surgery: “I've talked to some veterans that told me you can't do this on your own, you've got to talk. “And it was just time. My therapist, my wife more than anybody keep telling me I've got to take care of myself before I can help people. That's hard, I want to help people. “I've realized after the first four weeks when I played how hard it was on me, that I had to take care of myself because I was getting off. “That interview was the first step in that.” This is great advice from Gary on the importance of talking about mental health issues. It’s probable that the freedom Gary felt after that interview at The Players helped him win this week for the first time since the 2019 US Open.

Everything has happened before. Everything is repeated. But the mistake that had the biggest effect on me was in 1982. I had calculated that American banks had lent a lot of money to a bunch of countries that would not be able to pay it back. Mexico defaulted in August 1982, and while I was right about that part, I was completely wrong about the market. I thought the stock market was going to go down, but it went up because the Federal Reserve eased. I didn't just miss. I was publicly wrong and lost everything. I lost my company and all the people who worked for me—people who were like family. I was the only one left. I had to borrow $4,000 from my dad just to help pay my family bills. It was one of the most painful experiences I have ever had, but it was also one of the best. It completely changed my attitude about decision-making. It taught me to move from thinking "I'm right" to asking myself, "How do I know I'm right?" #RayDalio #Principles #Mindset #BusinessLessons

The other day my friend got into a car accident and after speaking with, her i found out that she had no way to cover the cost of repair of her car or even get a new one. Wahala! Naturally, i had to tell my people about it, to help anyone who is in the same boat as my friend.

“I outgrew a lot of old friendships. I had survivors guilt and remorse. And I don't feel guilty no more. My success isn't your demise. I try my best to do what I can and to help people when I can. If I can't help you, you got to be able to respect that.” -A$AP Rocky

One of the greatest lessons I ever learned had nothing to do with running the football. One day in practice, a coach looked at me standing on the other side of the field and asked, "What are you doing over there?" My answer? "Nothing." He looked at me and said, "Then go help your teammate." He challenged me to become uncommon. He reminded me that you never know what's going to happen on the field. A teammate may go down. Someone may need help. If you only know one job, you're limiting your value. From that day on, I expanded my role. I attacked my weaknesses, learned every position I could, and became the player the team could count on in any situation. That's what made me a starter. I've carried that lesson with me ever since. Don't just do what's required. Look for ways to add value. Learn a new skill. Help someone else. Prepare for opportunities before they arrive. The people who become uncommon aren't waiting to be needed—they're already getting ready. Find A Way.

Now that we’re a few sleeps after the storm, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you- from the bottom of my heart, for trusting us to help you through Milton. I always say that’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly, and that I’ll always work hard to keep your trust. As a community, let’s help each other recover and be better than ever- sometime soon.

When Neiro was only 14M mc and only listed in the mexc, the Neiro community was helping people in need of help with the motto Do Only Good Everyday. As part of this community, I wanted to donate a number of my Neiro tokens that I had at the time and send aid to people in need in Palestine. It was so hard to reach them at first stage and I found connection in almost month and it took so long time for the help to reach. The help I sent before the Binance listing reached almost 3 months later and they sent me a video like this. Although I gave my tokens before binance listing, this video, which came to me by my Turkish friends months later, made me very happy. The only thing left in me was that I couldn’t send from a higher price after Binance and couldn’t reach more people. So, The $Neiro community has always been there. Since day one, the Neiro community has worked with the Do Only Good Everyday idea to help people who need help regardless of external factors. Today, the only thing that has changed is that the value of the tokens of the people who try to help increases and they are trying to help more people.. So, When they ask you why Neiro, show it to them… Neiro is symbol of community Neiro is a helping hand extended to those in need. Neiro is love and respect 🙏💛

Arnold Schwarzenegger says going to couples therapy during his divorce was the biggest mistake he ever made "Did you seek out therapy or any personal help?" "Yes, we did, Maria and I. And it was the biggest mistake I've ever made." "That guy was so full of shit. He said more crap and more nonsense that was counterproductive to our future relationship." "Maria talked me into doing it. I went, but felt instinctively I shouldn't go because I knew I screwed up." "I don't have to go to anyone to have him explain anything to me. I apologized to Maria, apologized to the kids, and tried to move forward." "It has worked out so well with the help of Maria and the kids, but not because of that shrink." "I think people should get help when they need it, but in my particular case, it was not helpful."

EBRAHIM RASOOL After being expelled by Donald Trump in America, everyone from the ANC suddenly distanced themselves from me. Not a single ANC leader came to me to ask how I was feeling or what had actually gone wrong. Instead, without even speaking to me first, Fikile Mbalula appeared from nowhere and tried to hand me a task to serve as the Convenor of the ANC in the Western Cape. I told him to leave me alone. I had to protect myself and my family. Also, I then had to write a long exit report about my ambassadorship in the USA. I gave it to President Ramaphosa. It was accompanied by a resignation letter, and I told him to stop paying me. I cannot receive a salary for sitting at home. I am now involved in projects all over the world that help people understand the hothead by the name of Donald Trump.
