Knafeh is a traditional Arab dessert, made with spun pastry called kataifi, soaked in a sweet, sugar-based syrup called attar, and typically layered with cheese, or with other ingredients such as clotted cream, pistachioor nuts, depending on the region.

Not a Turkish dessert Arabic dessert, origin from Egypt but you can also find it all over the middle east including Nablus, Palestine, Turkey, Syria, arab gulf..etc each country has it's own style but the fundamental ingredients remain the same.
