I can't decide which is more badass, the canon that Malcador had psychic power enough to forcibly hold them back just long enough, or the idea that they could have overpowered him at any minute but he put such fear into them that they wouldn't test him before his task was done.

I think in Malcador’s case “I have lost things you will never understand” refers to the family he lost- the family he had that he truly loved. And true love is something Chaos could NEVER comprehend.

This was such a good episode. The Matt Smith era was the last watchable time for me.
