5 May 1962, Temple #27, Los Angeles. One week prior, LAPD raided that same temple and murdered John X (Stokes). Malcolm flew out from Harlem and was planning to go to war with the pigs. Elijah Muhammad pulled him back and said "leave it to Allah." Some believe this was the beginning of the rift between Malcolm & Elijah.
