I am a father to one month-old twins and I voluntarily take care of my babies in the night. No one asked me to do it, I do it joyfully out of my own volition. If that makes me a woman, so be it. 😂🙄

Their whole church is obsessed with marriage and women being stupidly submissive. But submission isn’t the problem, it’s how people twist it. Real submission, chosen freely, has power. It’s not about gender roles. It’s about trust, not control.

Yesterday, I ran 25km & after missing 2 water points, dehydrated & struggling with muscle cramps after abt 11Km, I was ready to give up. But then @rkabushenga appeared with a mobile water point, bringing water, soda, bananas, and watermelon. That act of kindness carried me through the last 14km. It got me thinking about life's seasons, including the last months of pregnancy, childbirth, & nursing. Pple who extend acts of kindness when we need it most leave a lasting impact. I dont hav the authority to comment on the theological aspects, bt, dear men to show compassion & support to your pregnant & nursing woman, whether they ask or not is an act of kindness. Kindness is Godly. The world needs more kind pple.

All this cho cho cho, there are fathers who are doing it easily. A lot are working from home and love to watch the children too effortlessly.

Watching a fellow woman shame postpartum mothers for asking their partners for support is heartbreaking. You don’t earn medals for suffering in silence. Parenthood is shared, not a solo performance.🤦🏽‍♀️

There's no definite way In which every man should treat his family.. Others prefer to do this,others don't. Others prefer to cook sometimes,Others don't.. Let's respect how every man wants to run their homes..if he's accepting to be woken up, why do you have a problem with it?

I have no religious authority, but as a mother of four I know my husband participating in night feeds bonded him more with the children and with myself in what was a trying time. Acts of kindness from partners during this difficult time reflect the love & leadership of Christ.
