Dear Taliban, how would you expect the women in your families -- mothers, wives, daughters -- to get medical care from women, as opposed to unrelated men, if you ban women from medical schools?

Any sustainable social change must come from Afghan citizens. One hopes this is a spark for self-expression on behalf of more reasonable governance in the interests of Afghanistan and current life on the planet instead of repression in the illusory promise of heaven.

Because of the way Twitter algorithms herd users into silos, I guess few Western viewers would be aware there's a very active Taliban Twitter allowed on here, where the decision to bar women medical & other university students is praised to the rafters
