Thirteen UPDF soldiers have been arrested after attacking Wakiso Police Division on June 2, 2025, over a land dispute. The soldiers, allegedly from the Presidential Taskforce on Land Matters, demanded that police enforce an eviction without a court order which the Division Police Commander refused. The confrontation escalated into an exchange of gunfire, forcing the soldiers to flee.
