There's nothing sacred about pythons. Tradition is a social construct. In Eastern Nigeria, they've said pythons are sacred , respect that. Give what's Caesar's to Caesar. Try to avoid pythons in the East.

I went to secondary school in idemmili north LGA, and I will tell you for free, those pythons are harmless, bitten multiple times by it and still nothing happened to me. If you ever kill it, you are not just a evil person but also a foolish man.
