Officers were called at 7.24pm on 22 June to reports an Audi A3 convertible had left the road near the junction with Potter Brow Road. Four people were in the car. A 23-year-old man remains in hospital with serious injuries, while another 23-year-old was treated for minor injuries. The 24-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody.
