A lot of employees in pharmacies are given targets that must be met. Failure to do this puts your job at risk. Why this is adopted and normalized in a sensitive field such as healthcare is beyond me.

Had tooth pain and they were giving me drugs worth over 100k for toothache. Told the pharmacist if I have 100k to buy drugs ti relieve me, I'd have gone to remove the said teeth that was paining. That day, I had to drive to a dentist and remove the teeth for less than 25k.

I stopped by Medplus to buy Condom, they brought out vitamins with it and spent over 15 minutes trying to convince me why I must buy N210k worth of vitamins with my 3K Durex. I was so confused, from where to where?

Undisputed but MEDPLUS is your forever plug for original medications. No fakes over there. Quality control is top notch.

Never go to Medplus and say your symptoms. Know the drug you want and Just go there and ask for the drug you want. They will try to sell you something based off your appearance. Stick to the drug you came for.

One time they tried to give me med of 19k cus of headache. I told them the headache rather kill me, and I left.

This is true! Went to Med Plus at admiralty in Lagos, asked for a cough syrup and they brought one that’s 42 thousand naira. Lmao I jejely asked them to give me Emzolyn please, don’t stress me. 😂

This is so so true I had catarrh and they sold me a 95k vitamin c supplement 😂😂😂 Na when I reach house I con Dey reason am😂😂😂 Medplus lekki... opposite Lennox mall

They sold me Imodium 13k just because I was having running stomach. What happened to the one of 4500 or 5k

The day I went there for catarrh, they tried to sell me a ₦23k nasal congestion spray or something. When there was an option for a ₦6k inhaler which I think it’s ridiculous for an inhaler.

Very silly behavior, it’s not just Medplus that does it. They’ll bring out the most unwarranted and costly drugs for you to buy first and when they see you have sense, they’ll now bring out what you actually need that doesn’t cost so much.

They do this all the time at all branches especially in Lagos

Wait until you enter there with your std results 😂😂😂😂... 500k and above .

This !!

And why are the drugs always so expensive?

They also change the price of their medicine at will. You can buy a medicine for 4k in the morning, it will be 10k in the afternoon. Medplus are thieves.

This is why I usually prefer my own prescription from my medical friends or I just outrightly tell them the money I have at hand and for some reasons, I’ve discovered they can tell you 20k and if you tell them you have just 4k. They’ll actually give you 4k drugs and it’ll work.

I got panadol for 12k one night there bcos it was really late and I had no option , dem say na foreign panadol, till date I’m still pained about that night

Nigerians are funny people Look at all of them complaining at the comment section Instead of visiting a doctor first when sick, so that the right prescription will be given to them. They would rather visit those that are waiting to exploit them.

Why would you to go a pharmacy for prescription?.. Even educated people do this....You visit a physician for proper diagnosis and prescriptions

I bought some drugs on Monday from medplus. I felt my account move literally

They’re trying to hit target broo not like the drug won’t work lol but you’re gonna be given lotta multivitamins lmao I’m a Pharmacist tech and I know right😂

My sister had a running stomach some weeks back, went there to get flagyl but they said it’s Imodium available. How much ? N28000. If you see the way I screamed. I had no choice it was a Sunday morning, I just had to buy.

Stopped at Medplus on Road 14 for levofloxacin; told them I didn’t want a high-end brand ooo, they still brought one for ₦55k+. I hissed and went to David’s Pharmacy (Ebeano). Got it for ₦2,200, I was so shocked at the price I asked 4 times if she was sure 😂 It was astonishing

Doctors do this too. I think they have targets like bankers. I gave gone many times to buy advil in pharmacies and ended up spending over 100k buying supplements of all kinds. The pharmacists will market other products to you

I complained of throat pain to Medplus pharmacy, they gave me medicine worth 9k….. It didn’t work after taking it for a week. I went to another pharmacy and they gave me only white vitamin C of 200 Naira. Bro it worked in less than 4days

You want Medplus to go below their set standard/SOP, all be ahde you want a cheap alternative from same brand. Let things go south now, you will carry camera and call them out. Go to a doctor, get your prescriptions, and present same to Medplus.

They have daily targets, so them no really care about you o... Their job is to sell as much drugs so money can be made. 🤣 A lot of healthcare in Lagos are now profit driven.

Every pharmacy is just looking to extort you If you don't know the exact drug you want to buy and seek recommendations from them, they have only 1 goal: Make as much money from you Simple head, take vitamins A, B, C, D, E, blood tonic plus panadol & pain relive 4 just headache

When you can enter Emeka's chemist shop and get niclofenac and perilon for 600 naira ur pain us gone.

This one no be lie oo 😭😭😭 I Dey avoid them And yes my experience was headache too

If you step in there and tell them you have Headaches, instead of selling a card of Emor Paracetamol of N100 to you, they will bring out the foreign Paracetamol and tell you to pay N5,000. But if you push back and ask for the regular card of Emor Paracetamol, they will give it.

I’m not wearing pampers is real😂😂

True bro Look like all this Top class pharmacy are doing the same thing The will tell u that u need to take all this so it won't happen again

They act like salesmen. I fell for it once or twice and that was it. I stopped going there
