First, didn't happen. She didn't take it out the bank because the bank wouldn't let her take it out of a non-joint account. If it were a forged check, they'd have likely caught that at the bank, too. Most banks will require you make an appointment to withdraw that much cash at once for security/safety purposes. Short answer: If true, have her arrested AND go after the bank for the reimbursement of the stolen funds.
