I don't agree with his actions, but there's always some fucker who's out to test people in subtle but effective ways to undermine them for their own amusement. Invasion of personal space, disrespecting boundaries, making subtle remarks in front of the wife or friends etc. They think they’re untouchable because it's nothing people can really put their finger on, so if they respond violently they have plausible deniability. But eventually these tiny little cuts all add up until they eventually lose their shit and do something extreme. Like that "friend" who's always stealing your lighters or picking food off your plate and generally taking liberties. They know what the fuck they're doing 100%.
