This is how we all feel for our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Our hearts are in pain and crying for them 😪

Emotion is human, but it should never cloud reality. A man from Tunisia crying upon meeting someone from Palestine may reflect solidarity, but it's crucial to ask,solidarity with what exactly? A leadership in Gaza that has launched thousands of rockets into civilian areas in Israel? Or a political system where elections haven't been held in over 15 years, and dissent is brutally silenced? If one truly cares about justice, then that emotion must also extend to Palestinians oppressed by Hamas, Israeli civilians living in fear, and the regional peace repeatedly shattered by extremism. Selective sympathy without accountability does not lead to peace,it enables propaganda.

Damn... I can't hold my tears too. I felt useless, I can't do anything for my brothers and sisters in Gaza, or anywhere else in the world where they're oppressed. O Allah, guide our leaders and our ummah, so that we'll wake up and march forward to help our families in need.

This epitomises the heart of the global South because unlike the crooked west, people from these regions are not desensitised from #humanity & are not driven by greed, the enslavement of people & material possessions, they're driven by that which makes humanity pulsate.
