Lots of cholla in Arizona ~ when horseback riding, we would carry a large tooth comb in our packs. Easiest way to remove cholla cactus. The really hard ones are prickly pear. My dog jumped off a fence straight into a patch ~ couldn’t move. Took Hrs to get those out one at a time

Looks like burrs, not cactus.

Caution: when removing cactus of any kind, be aware that cactus spines contain toxin that causes a lot of pain and irritation. Prickly pear have thousands of minuscule stickers You can’t see ~ Remove the using duct tape 😎
