Joan Bakewell interviewing MLJ. I just wondered if this woman, after a talk w/MLJ, came to Christ. I Googled, "woman interviewing Martyn Lloyd Jones," she came up - still living at 91. Not too late to pray for her. "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save .."

Amen. God provides a Savior who, through our belief in His sinless life, sacrificial death and validating resurrection, reconciles us to Him, thereby saving us from His promised (and deserved) wrath to come. One’s “best life now” is a life lived in recognition of this truth.

Jesus himself often referred to sin as a sickness and HIMSELF as a HEALER.

yes, those who work iniquity are in rebellion. but we trend towards that direction because we've been infected with sin, our natures corrupted. Sin is indeed a sickness, that often begets rebellion, furthering the condition. Man does not rebel and then get sick. Only Adam did.
