Man, your Valvoline schemes were legendary no matter the year. That 6 car was always looking good.

Man, I loved the look for the T-Bird Super Coupes. I had one that was a manual.

I miss 900hp plus. Luckily I see it at dirt tracks all over the country still.

That was my favorite paint scheme....😉

It seems so long ago that engines used to sing. Sadly we don't get to hear those melodies anymore.

Sounds so much better than the junk that's out there now.

TV just can’t capture the true sound of the engines. I think it’s the fact you can’t feel it in your bones like you can live. Everyone I’ve taken for the first time is very surprised by how good they sound.

Good looking race car. Hard to beat those Valvoline schemes. 😉👍👊🇺🇸

Those cars looked great

And he still does today! Roush S3 Factory Get Down Machines

Red white and blue Thunderbird 👌🔥

Damn. Forgot how awesome your helmet was back then.

Happy Hour at CMS was awesome, P1 for the 6!

So AWESOME

Carb jet out, engine timing in.

AK following you back into the garage ♥

That man could tune a carb like no other.... cat in the hat!!

Real race cars, men driving, and more fans for qualifying than show up for most races .

Loved watching you race .

Ahh. One of my favorite all time race cars right there. The 6 and the 28 in those years.

I remember that guy 😎

Great paint scheme too 👍👍

Perhaps, but how many times did I see Yates, Hendrick and RCR cars "handling better down the straight," as Neil Bonnett called it?

because of the plugs

Yes, it was singing!

The next late model we build for the team here is going to have the Valvoline color scheme, got the same number may as well try that livery out too. #sleek

Mark, Matthew: Those were the good old days ❗️

Yes sir! The good ole days!

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍💯🏁🇺🇸

Beautiful Noise, Amazing Gravity!

Some of my favorite pics are him reading plugs! The good ole days!

Randy Hewitt build Mark?

Mark what was your speed here going into Turn 1 back then? I’m a nascar nerd. I was guessing around 184-189 going into turn 1?

Good picture of you and another champion that we lost far, far, too soon.
