Both of my cats were rescued by FFs from when my house was arsoned back in 2011. They held me back from entering, I told them where they should be, and they came back a short while after with cheers of the crowd that had gathered around. Thankfully they were just a little smokey and given a clear bill of health from the vet. Both have now passed of old age, and were a real part of our family.
