Man that Hug from Trout

Now we all can go back to picturing him in a @Cubs uniform and the universe is back in alignment

@Cubs 😂😂

Him and Rizzo retiring is tugging at my heart.

We’re getting old haha

Fuck man. We are.

He's such an underrated pitcher. Also, Trout being the best teammate? Not surprised in the slightest.

A true professional, its actually a crime that this saint wont retire as a Cub. All time legend up in Wrigleyville

Seems like he really wanted to pitch in Anaheim at some point

He grew up an angels fan so I get it, just for my own sake id love to have him retire a cub

And I’m sure he will haha

Hope so

I didn’t like the Hendricks signing in the beginning. But as the season went on, he was actually pretty good. What I liked most was how he mixed up his pitches. Because he wasn’t a hard thrower, he painted corners and worked different zones—he’s a pitcher’s pitcher.

Mike Trout is the you want your kids to model themselves after if they play basenall.

The effort from Hendricks and trout that saved the tigers season

🥹 all timer

I heard on angels radio last night that he isn’t actually retiring…

It was never actually confirmed He denied it being 100% He said he wasn’t entirely sure yet and he’d see at the end of the season

Brad Pitt as Billy Beane with the voiceover.

Damn I'm gonna miss Kyle Hendricks. Everyone throws 95+ these days, but there was something about a guy throwing 88mph and getting big league hitters out that I loved. It was an art

Some dumbfucks said he wasn’t a leader tho?

People are always dumb

Retire as cub

Kyle Hendricks was a great Cub!!

Hes loved every where he goes

Fuck em but he’s gotta retire a c*b !

What a career by the Cubs great. Congrats Professor 🤝

Thank you Kyle from this Cubs fan. You’re still drinking for free in Chicago for life.

Is Trout gonna go for 500? You think he cares about it?

I wouldn’t necessarily say he cares about it but if he just continues to play the way he plays he’ll for sure get close to it and I think he has a real shot at it

The professor. Class act

I love Trout a lot. Most understated player ever

Areal class act

The Professor makes his final pitch? Thanks for the memories

That moment was so heartwarming! 😄 I felt truly grateful!

Now come back to Chicago and sign a one day contract and retire as a Cub as you should.

That hug was iconic! 🐟 FR, I felt so happy.

Sniff.

Horseshit. This should have been as a Cub

Yeah nothing like showing Angels players while playing an audio clip of their divisional rival’s GM.

Lmao who cares the audio is from a movie that literally every team quotes

Fair enough, watching Moneyball is probably how most Angels fans remember what the playoffs even are.

You do realize the movie is based on the 2002 A’s right? lol The year not only we won the WS but also we’d go on to win several division titles after? You can’t actually be that uneducated

No I totally understand the nostalgia for the early 2000s ✌️

Good thing 2014 wasn’t the 2000’s 💀💀

Too bad there isn’t a good baseball movie from that year to revisit

Horrible troll job

@chi_dfl

Yeah so anyways. Putting this sound track of a movie to this is fucking bullshit. Have so respect

No
