Man this is soooo cool Built a web interface to draw to the led pixel grid. Can even draw photos to it!

Oh man this is rad. The led pixel grids are SO fun, also fun to play with different diffusers to make the light even softer/more mysterious :)

idk how feasible this would be, but it would be cool if you could get it to map your entire monitor onto that and you have a pixelated version of what you are doing infront of you, think that would be quite aesthetic

Pretty doable actually with the getDisplayMedia() API. Will try once i get it bigger

Did a similar project a couple of years ago, my suggestion is you print a grid (to create the pixel effect), then buy frosted plexiglass… looks and feels a lot more premium

In 2014 I did something similar with a tiled window. But the light didn’t defused that well, was nice feeling though.
