Theres no system that 100% accounts for such brain dead decision making from your Dm. Most teams build up in an identical shape as we do either 3-1-6 or 3-2-5 with full backs high-wide or inverted. Difference is, you don’t see the rodri’s making these type of errors in build up because if you do, you automatically have 4-6 opposition players bombarding your goal and the chance of conceding is always very high. This is why teams press even more these days.
