Manchester: Scuffles as counter-protesters try to block Britain First from marching. Footage this afternoon (Aug 2) shows a group of masked-up counter-protesters attempting to stop the controversial political group from meeting. There were several scuffles with police.

Tensions flared a block from Gracie Mansion as far-right anti-Islam activist and Jan. 6 rioter Jake Lang holds a protest against Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Lang is driving around in a uhaul van. Counter-protesters confronted the group, leading to several heated exchanges and brief physical altercations as NYPD officers moved in to separate the sides and restore order. Police remain on scene intervening when scuffles broke out, keeping the opposing groups apart as the protest continued near the mayor’s residence.
